Southold Town Hamlets HALO Zone and The HALO Zone Maps below were formally adopted by the Town Board. The idea behind adopting HALO Zones in each hamlet was to identify areas for growth that are based on Smart-growth principles. There are no formal designations or special zoning associated with the HALO zones at this time, and the current zoning remains in effect.
